A major development opportunity has once again opened up for Hungarian micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs): the Demján Sándor 1+1 SME Investment-Stimulating Grant Program is now available, providing non-refundable funding to support the technological renewal and growth of domestic companies. The program makes larger-scale investments accessible to SMEs, including those that would otherwise find it difficult to finance such developments on their own.
Key features of the program
In the second phase of the Demján Sándor 1+1 Grant Program, the total budget is HUF 20 billion. In this new phase, a single enterprise can apply for HUF 25–200 million in non-refundable funding with a 50% funding intensity. The goal is to boost the productivity, competitiveness, and technological preparedness of Hungarian SMEs, particularly by supporting equipment investments in rural businesses.
In this second phase, it is expected that approximately 250 enterprises will receive support, potentially generating at least HUF 40 billion in new investments for the Hungarian economy. The grant amounts will be disbursed 100% as an advance in the first quarter of 2026, allowing companies to begin their development projects as soon as possible.
