The DIMOP Plusz-1.2.6/C-26 funding programme will soon open for applications, supporting the digital development of micro and small enterprises in Budapest. The scheme aims to help businesses with currently low levels of digital maturity improve their competitiveness and operate more efficiently by introducing modern IT solutions.
Who is eligible for the funding?
Micro and small enterprises that meet the following criteria may apply:
- have at least one completed financial year;
- have their registered office or an operational site in Budapest;
- have a very low level of digital intensity based on the KKV Digital assessment;
- are actively operating and have not ceased or suspended their activities.
Consortium applications will not be permitted under this scheme.
When will applications open?
Applications for funding can be submitted between 1 September 2026 and 27 October 2026. Based on previous experience, the available funding may be exhausted quickly, so it is advisable to start preparing the application before the submission period begins.
How much funding is available?
Under the programme, applicants can request HUF 3–12 million in non-repayable funding.
Does the funding have to be repaid?
The funding is non-repayable; however, applicants must achieve the professional results they have committed to. If the project does not reach the agreed level of digital maturity, the funding may be reclaimed.
What can the funding be used for?
The funding can be used for digital development, including:
- business software, such as ERP and CRM systems;
- cloud services;
- IT security solutions;
- website development
- online invoicing systems;
- digital training;
- IT equipment, such as laptops, computers, monitors, tablets and network devices.
How much advance funding can be requested?
Up to 25% of the awarded funding may be requested as an advance payment.
How much own contribution is required?
At least 10% own contribution is required for the implementation of the project.
What else should you know about the project?
A key element of the programme is increasing the company's level of digital maturity. At the beginning of the project, completing the KKV Digital assessment is mandatory. After the development activities have been completed, a second assessment will be carried out to verify the results achieved.
The company must undertake to reach at least a low digital intensity level by the end of the project. To achieve this, it must implement at least three eligible digital development objectives. A maximum of 24 months is available for project implementation.
Public procurement obligations apply only to beneficiaries who are legally required to comply with them, meaning that most micro and small enterprises will not be subject to such obligations.
It is important to note that if the product or service to be procured is available in the accredited ICT supplier and certified product catalogue specified on https://vallalkozzdigitalisan.mkik.hu/palyazati_arajanlatok.html , it may only be procured from the suppliers and among the products listed there.
After the project has been completed, the equipment and software purchased must continue to be used throughout the maintenance period, and the beneficiary must ensure that the project results remain in line with the commitments undertaken.
